1st engine swap need advise
im thinking about buying a d15b 92-95 for my 99 ex.(d16y8). but do i really have to buy the ECU for it or can i just use my p2p? and do i also need motor mounts or anything else, im just planing to buy the motor. Thank you in advanced. and also, is a po8 ECU a obd1 or obd2? and also, will it pass smog?

Since you do have to worry about Smog and Ref and all that jazz, might wanna just look for another Y8 and shim that oil pump for high pressures to prevent that spun bearing issue.

dam i didnt know that it has to be the same year, dam. im chaning the motor because a rod went out in my y8. and cant find a site that sells my y8
