Default 1999 honda civic dx hatchback question...

i dont know whats it called.
im looking for a big needle look alike
that plugs into the air filter.
so i can order it at autozone or something.

I think you're referring to the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor - but I'm not sure.

Can you explain it better?

i have a frand that did mine so i am not shor but i thick that you can just jump it with a resitor or use a pot and the good thing on a pot it will let you tune it bit but he told me that it would add power and it felt like it i do not no what it was and that car is long gorn now

That's what it sounds like to me.

A better engine bay shot (lighter, so you can see what's going on better).
