I picked this car up a few months back and barely had a chance to work on it.

It's all good, we all started somewhere. just remember that this is the tech section, and try to keep it tech. You definitely have a hell of a lot of work ahead of you, though.

Yup, first thing I noticed too. The front end. But yeah there are a couple of slow builds going on so don't worry about it too much. Not to mention slow builds that haven't been updated. Make a note of all the work that needs to be done and write down what you want to prioritize first and go from there.

Looking at my torn OEM steering wheel. I talked to a friend with a wrecked RSX and asked if could get his spare steering wheel. He purchased another steering wheel to fix up his car, but decided to total it instead. I searched in the thread and found a DIY from Confidence for this swap.

Thread: rsx or ep civic steering wheel into EK airbag mod - Honda-Tech

I didn't have time to go to the junk yard , so I cut my OEM airbag clip to use for this wiring.

Yes, the front was hit and the radiator bracket was a little bent too. Let me try to get a shot of it for you guys.

Here's a picture of my broken radiator support. Do you guys think it repairable or it needs to be replaced by a new one?

Here a picture with the RSX steering wheel install. The feeling is way better. It's thicker and the leather still feels new. Thanks to our fellow H-T Confidence DIY swap.

I got tired of looking at the Big O Tach on the side. My friend didn't give me an answer on his RSX type S Cluster, so I went and picked up an EX cluster from a 99 civic. All but 1 plug didn't fit. The green socket and the orange plug was a little off, so I filed down one side to make it fit. Then snap it went in.

I turn my engine on to test the RPM and see if the temp was working. Everything seem fine. I even drove it around to see if the mileage was working properly. Then a check engine light turned on. I hope it the cluster that did this or did an CEL really did appear. I got borrow my brother's scanner and see if it throws a code.

I scanned my car and got P0138. Its my O2 circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 2. Does anyone know, if this is the O2 sensor after the Cat? People said just to replace it. I also remove the aftermarket tach on the side. I'll take a pic and post it tonight.

I did a reset on the ECU and later that evening the CEL popped back on. I guess its time to change it out.

I started to hear some noises in the passenger front wheel when i run over something. It seems like a bushing problem. I went to remove the front wheel and found out my Upper control is different than my 96 EX.

Does anyone know if the 99 DX UCA is a better design than the 96 EX? There does seem to be a problem with both, but since I have the part and if the 96 EX is better why not change it out.

That first one is not a stock upper control arm.

Finally got around and ordered the O2 sensor downstream meaning after the cat. I went with denso 234-4098.

Borrowed my cousins O2 sensor removal tool, but the 3/8 socket hole couldn't be reached because of the shift linkage. I ended using a adjustable wrench and got it out. I then re-installed the Denso O2 sensor with anti seize lube. The Denso was a better fit length wise than the Bosch that I replaced.

I also got a chance to replace my broken wheel stud in the rear driver side. I replaced all four wheel stud with ARP. The grade 8 bolts looks great.
