Default 1999 civic dx

hey guys i have a 1999 civic dx, and i am planning on just doing some exterior "mods", but i dont wanna spend over $20-$30 altogether, so far i have just taken off the hubs which isnt a real "mod", but whatever it makes it look better imo. can u guys tell me of any other mods that i can do so it will look a bit better? ill post some pics for you guys so you have an idea of what im driving. please give me some ideas that i can work on cuz its summer and i dont have much to do all day. if any of you have an idea how i can make my own short ram/cold air intake, give me some ideas too, thanks guys.

cool man i'd get a type r grill, paint the side skirts, get a front lip of your choice. the type r is nice. maybe fog lights, i love the window visors and oem mud guards, keep the taillights and headlights for now. i prefer stock tail lights to be honest. get si rims or else wheelsnext.com gots some good packages or discounttire.com. hope this helps

why do u wanna go cheap on ur car? modding ur car is not cheap. tell u the truth all u really need is some new wheels and get it lower 2 inch. i think u should put the hub back on. steelies dont look that great to begin with. i know its summer so u wanna make ur car pretty but it will come with a price. if u not willing to spend 5bills for some rims, or 500 to 1g on lowering ur car then i dont know. good luck

Relocate your front license plate. $5 dollars worth of hardware at lowes.
Get some 1500 grit sandpaper and plastx, spruce up your headlights. $10
OEM bumper plugs to cover license plate holes. $11 at dealer.
Can of New Car cent spray $4

Or, You could probably get a Replica "type R" grill for 30 shipped, It will fit like crap and youll have to paint it. If you want to do anything to your car you better be ready to spend alot more than 30 god damn dollars.

You're not going to find anything worth spending 30 bucks on lol. Just leave it stock.

Save a little more money and get some dark tints.. You can get it done cheap if you look hard enough.

well, around here $25 fills the gas tank, and $3.99 gets you a can of "factory color" spray paint, $1.07 gets you some 220 grit sand paper $0.99 gets you a roll of masking tape.......

paint your side and lower moldings body color, put your wheel covers back on, get another $15 and get a headlight renewal kit.........

really, there is nothing you can do to make a car look nice thats cheap, but these little details can make a positive difference and really help the appearance

ohhh, and tape over the chrome on your grille and paint it body color too

Get some waxes and cleaners and clean the $hit out of that car. Inside and out. I can respect someone who takes care of their car, but not someone who has worthless mods on a dirty car (not saying yours is dirty) and thinks it's awesome. Let your next $30 go to some of the stuff above.

$55 for coilovers?!

if you've got a $30 budget cars are not the thing for you. cant even fill my tank for under $30 anymore. You COULD go bye some new PIAA windshield wipers for under $30 lol perfect for the summer time

Leave it alone. Put the hubs back on, black steelies look dumb as hell IMO. Looks like some ghetto POS.
