1999 cives ex NO Acceleration
I have a 1999 Civic EX 5-Speed manual.
I replaced the timing belt and now I have this problem with no acceleration.
Temprature doesnot matter, it happens when hot or cold.
The car is stock in every way with no modifications/upgrades.
I thought maybe I was off by one tooth on the timing belt but it doesnt run rough at all, and it idles fine.
When in 1st I hit the gas and it just doesnt go. It doesnt backfire or run bad/rough at all.
Its totally smooth it just wont go when I hit the gas.
I can drive it all over town fine but when I hit the highway, it wont pick up speed at all.
There is a sensor pointing at the lower crank shaft sprocket with a bunch of teeth where the timing belt wraps around, is this not close enough...
Looking for suggestions...
Thanks...
