1998 honda civic hx (d16y5)
I just bought this car few months ago and I am ready to do some stuff with it so if you have any ideas just let me know, i really want to boost it also but every where i look on here it says its not a good idea. But I'm going to try anyways.

Going to boost it anyways? I'd like to see you do it.
Obviously you're a hard-headed individual if everything you've read and seen says it is not a good idea. It's been my experience that people like this are best left alone to their own devices because they're going to do what they want to regardless.

i would like to make it boost just need ideas how to make that possible. now i know i can always do a swap but i just want to see what i can get out of this engine. trust me guys im not a little kid with his first honda.

Sounds like it, if you can't realize that your Y5 is entirely the wrong platform to do it. Maybe you should try posting this in the Forced Induction forum and see what the experts have to say.

i dont believe its the wrong car, i have owned other types of cars 90 bmw 318is, 94 honda del sol si, 94 honda civic eg, 64 chevy corvair. just wanted ideas..

Read the Forced Induction FAQs if you want to learn about turbocharging an engine. How you say you're going to "try it anyway" and know very little to nothing about the subject doesn't quite make sense.
