I got a 98 honda civic ex. New distributor, fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires, battery, alternator, fuses, relays. The car starts when it wants to. Stalls out. There are no leaks. Sometimes if you mess with the gas cap ot likes to start. I've had the car at two different mechanics. The only code that comes up is for the front o2 sensor. Which the car has a brand new whole exhaust/ cat / and both o2 sensors. Car wolnt pass nj inspection and keeps leaving me stuck. Please help before I take a sledgehammer to the thing! Thanks in advance

Yea its a stock d16 y8
O2 sensor reading p0135
im not sure if its coincidence it only starts after u mess with the gas cap some times. What other kind of details would u like?
Someone just til me to try the ect sensor do u know if that has anyt hi to do with it?

Check whether fuse 15 is blown.

What other details do you have? How often does the no-start occur? How long does engine run before it stalls? Does the problem only occur under certain conditions? The more details you provide, the better chance for you to get some help.
