Default 1998 Honda Civic Driver side window does not close right?

Well it seems when you hit the down button for the electric windows the window goes down correctly. However, when you come up, about 90% of the way up I notice the front of the window starting to dip down a little and the top rear start pulling away from the weather stripping. Sometimes it closes correctly, but most of the time the window either jumps the weather stripping (about 90% of the way up - top rear portion of the window is on top of the weather stripping lip), or you see a small gap between the top rear part of the window and the weather stripping. If you grab the window and pull back it will seat in correctly.

I lubed up the tracks in the window and it seemed to help for a while, but I am wondering if something is worn out? If so, which part would it be, and how hard is it to replace? Thanks!!!

Honda sells two special lubes for the runchannel....one a silcone spray, the other a kind of a paste, it has a crazy name called Shin-Etsu

Thanks! However, why does the window "dip" to the front when the window is almost 90% closed? I thought maybe a guide bushing/track or something similar. Thanks again!

It dips because it's sticking on the front part, very very common issue

Sticking in the rubber weather stripping channel? I took the door off and lubed the track with a silicon spray. I also sprayed some silicon down the weather stripping track - front and rear, which seemed to help, but now the problem has returned. I thought it might be something else. Thanks!

There are different qualities of spray...that is why i always use Honda brand. That paste is right from Japan, and lasts a lot longer
