1998 EX coupe window issues
This issue started a few months back after a straight week of rain. Essentially, the window (driver's) goes up and and down just fine, but while coming back up, it reaches about 2 inches from the top and stops, and "clacks" as if the thing thinks this is the top and it's bouncing off. I can't really think of a better way to describe it.
What I can tell you is that I have tried pulling up on the window while doing it, nothing changes, continues its clacking.
I can also tell you that I have taken the door panel off too install polk components but the whether shield is still intact (and i want to keep it that way) and all the wiring for the speakers are taped down, and the crossover isn't going anywhere.
I have searched and not found a result pertaining to this issue. It would be great to know that it's some simple fix, and I can purchase my amp without having to call someone/purchase parts to fix this.
thank you in advance

There are tons of threads about the common window track issues that 6th gen Civics have. That's what it sounds like you're getting.
Does the glass poke out of the track or is it still in line?
The tracks in the door might be bent and need replacing. If you're careful, you can remove the water seal without tearing it and then stick it back to where it was.
I'd suggest people with these cars should buy some silicone spray from an auto parts store and lube their tracks up occasionally. It helps a lot.

it actually goes up an down faster than the passenger side, and it appears to be in line. It would be great if i didn't have to wait for parts....Anyways, if I do end up ripping that seal, what should I use to make another one and stick it up there? Also, got any tips for getting speaker wiring into the doors
Thank you again
