1998 cluster shift light
i have a 1998 civic hx, 5 speed 2 door and i have heard of other cars having a shift assist light, that tells or suggests when to shift based on the rpm/throttle input. does anybody know if honda put one in my car? i have never seen it and i am wondering if it had one maybe i need to change the bulb.

bottom right I beleive. I may be thnking of the VX cluster though.
it should be a green arrow pointing up.
shine a flash light at the lights with the car off and you'll see it.

That is a thread on a DIY for Amber gauge bulbs. But it also give you instructions on removing the Cluster itself. Its honestly 6 screws. Just lower your steering wheel all the way.
