Default 1998 Civic Lx Radiator Leak

Hey I need help/advice on my radiator. Its leaking all around the top of the radiator. I poured in Bar's Leak for radiators. Need to know if I can seal it or not?

Buy a new radiator and flush the sealant out. The top seam of the radiator is a very common place to leak and you don't want anything but 50:50 coolant in your cooling system.

I would worry about that bar's getting into everything now, from the heater core and the rest of the system. A radiator is like 80 bucks aftermarket.

It was the kind with the pellets in it but I don't think any of those came out. they were all at the bottom of the bottle after I poured half of it in. I'll only poured half. I hope it doesnt hurt anything I'm hearing good and bad stuff. Hey how do you post a picture on this thing? I wanted to show the leak

OEM is like 350, aftermarket is like 80 bucks, I would get the aftermarket and save the money.

and aftermarket still have warranty.

If you're really cheap JB weld it...otherwise please replace it. I've JB welded a rad before and it held up...but if you can afford to please replace it.

btw anything you pour in that "seals" is going to get everywhere, it can clog the passages/heater core. I've seen a motor where the sleeves had a thick deposit on the outside...it was that coolant seal crap
