looking for the best lowering springs for my civic. looked around on ebay and saw a lot that were around 50$ which is around the price im looking for because Im on a budget and was wondering if they were any good. I recently replaced my shocks to OEM ones I got off of ebay because the last ones were shot. HELP!

Decent springs are about $175-200. Tein S tech, Eibach Pro, H&R sport, etc . I wouldn't buy $50 springs.

Plan to buy good shocks with the springs. I think Koni STRT are like $250-300.

Don't buy $50 springs.

Start saving your pennies. $50 isn't going to get you a damn thing. Also, read the FAQ sticky in the future. Not doing so is insulting to the people who put it together, and is a fast way to not actually get any help around here.

Your question is PERFECTLY answered by a thread within that link.

Cut those springs...that's about the same as buying cheap springs and using stock shocks. 50...put that into gas not trying to look cool

I always look for used name brand springs on craigs or ebay and wait for a good deal becasue im cheap but i wont settle for those cheap ebay springs im scared to run them lol,I know a few people that ran dropzone springs and they seemed decent for what they are. My favorite springs are Sprint springs with tokico illumina shocks but Sprint springs are out of business and hard to find used. My friend back in the 90s had some Progress springs on his civic and they were pretty awesome, but hard to find used....Right now i have rs-r down springs on my 97 hatch and i do not like the way they feel at all especially the rear and the front sits a tad higher lol They were probably meant for 99-00 si or integra or something. Im probably going to get ksport gt springs soon,my friend has them on his 240 and i like the way they feel kinda soft and low,i imagine with koni adjustable shocks or illuminas they will be perfect. I try to stay away from super stiff springs they get uncomfy here in Dallas the roads are all jacked up

Do you research

Cold Forged springs are best and will hold up and not wear out. H&R and Eibach have cold forged springs.
