1997 Honda Civic EX 2 door WIPER SWITCH REPLACEMENT
How difficult is it to replace the windshield wiper switch on a 97 Honda Civic EX 2 door ?
My garage is giving me a price of $125 for the switch and another $200+ for the labor. Is this a rip off ?????

Is this as simple as it appears? Remove the steering column trim, remove the screws holding the wiper switch, unplug the electrical connectors and replace ?

First off taking your car to any shop is a rip off unless you have some sort of major issue that you have zero knowledge on. Majority of things can be fixed easily and there are DIYs EVERYWHERE to show you how its done.
Secondly that seems to be how it is done. Hit the junk yard up and get a replacement to save your moneys.

I posted the same thing a week ago or so. Does yours still work, mine snapped forward but still works, I will wait it out until I know it needs to be done.
It is easy, thank me later
