I have a 1997 civic dx hatch. Has d16z6 with vitaras and fj custom length rods, stock head. with a MPX4250 2.5 map(chipped p28 to match everything)Obd2 to Obd1 conversion.. Problem is that it just started to run like if it has a miss the other day.. It wont keep running unless you tap dance with the gas pedal and wont ideal with the chipped ecu in , but all the cylinders equally cut out if spark plug wire is pulled . It will idea and stay running with a stock p28 put wont rev without having much like a really bad miss. When checking codes with stock p28(only way to keep it running long enough), #3 map and #4 ckp come up. I understand using a stock ecu with after market map would prolly make it throw #3, so i threw back a stock obd1 map nothing changed.. And I know Obd1 don't use a ckp.. So any thought of where i could start would be great.. This car was running great with everything that is on it now, but like i said one day it started doing this a random day and hasn't stopped..
