Ok so this sounds so stupid.
but yesterday i went to open my dome light and popped off the plastic piece of the light so i look at the bulb. but to my surprise, it looked different that what i expected.


i thought it would look like this:



So my question is, i wanted to change the light to led's that were much brighter (like a white) and i dont no what will fit or how ill change the light out.


so will this fit in my civic?

Yes it does look different, but I am not sure if the HX had a different light than my EX.

My EX has 3 setting on,off and door, yours only has 2 settings. I would ask other HX owners if theirs looks like yours.

ok so i just went out to look at the domelight again to see if there was a door setting, and IT DOES NOT SAY DOOR but it DOES HAVE THREE settings.

Right now, the slider is in the middle of the on and off which is set to door (although it doesnt say door)

so i dont no what type of bulb i would use to put into there...

or if ur not sure u can go to the parts store and look at bulbs for comparison. once u have one that is like yours then u know what size you need for the LED.

or do u think there is another good white led bulb? im not sure which one i should use for the best light, and i have no idea which one would be good to put in my car either

Check the owner's manual.

Either a 168 or 194. Damn those are so tiny I am surprised you get any light from them.
