Default 1997 civic 4dr stock suspension 235/45/17. Will it fit?

I have a 97 civic 5sp 4 dr. Has stock wheels covers 185/65/17. I found a good deal on 17 wheels with new pirilles tires. 235/45/17. From my research. I really feel tires will be too tall. I would b picking them up Tom on my way back to Arkansas from Oklahoma with my truck. I am not in the car. So would be nice to know in advance. I have no plans to lower the car. Just want actual wheels and could use new tires. Please let me know if I can clear. Or if I can clear after I roll the fenders.

From experience, I can tell you those tires won't fit correctly, even with rolling fenders. The largest I could fit on stock height was 215/35R17, which is also close to stock rolling radius.

I'm sure someone will come in and tell you they'll work with aggressive camber, but that's not a correct tech solution.

Thx. I found one other set. They are 215/45zr17. Duron sport one tires. 2 tires wore bad on inside. Guess i may try for those or hold out for something else.

215/45 would probably still be too tall.
