1996 Honda Civic LX
I don't know exactly what the problem is with the car and I was hoping that one of you might be able to lean me towards an answer.
During the winter the car acts horribly, it really doesn't like the cold at all. I'll start it up, it idles fine and then it starts making this weird clicking noise. It'll go on for a couple seconds and stop, then a couple seconds later start right back up again. Sometimes it just makes the noise and sometimes it'll shut the car down completely.
The other day I had no problem, drove about 5 miles and then it started doing it, even when the temp gauge said it was warm. I can't find any information the problem, but I'm assuming it could be electrical, however I'm not sure at all.
Any help would be great.
Thank you

or just go to autozone and ask them to check codes on your car. they'll probably do it for free. or you can buy a code scanner from them and then return it for a full refund.
first things first is to make sure you even have codes. start car and see if check engine light stays lit. you can also visit the thread for CEL How-to.
