1996 Civic Sedan Wont Start In the Heat
I'm sure that this issue has been discussed before, because I have come accross other Civic owners who experience the same troubles. Noone seems to have a good solution though. I checked the cars electrical, and the spark plugs are all cool. The car is full of gas. Everyone has theory's about why it does it, but no solid solution. I haven't yet checked the fuel relay. That's my next step, though.

It turns over like mad to start. If I keep at it, of course, it slowly dies out. I fiddled around with the fuel relay and it seems to be cool. So i think i found the culpret.

"Cold" solder joints inside the main relay, alright. You can take it apart and re-solder the points in there. The heat causes the circuit board to expand and the components lose their connections.
Happens to Accords also.
