1996 civic lx......abs or non abs brake pads?

1996 civic lx......abs or non abs brake pads?
i just bought some front abs brake pads from autozone. looking at the old and the new pads, they are different animals. are abs and non abs brake pads different? is the 96 civic lx abs or non abs?

For '96 the LX was available with ABS, but not all of them had it.
The part number for the '96 LX front brake pads are: 45022-SR8-A01
The part number for the '96 LX ABS front brake pads can be: 45022-SR8-A01 or 45022-S01-A02

my old brake pads are smaller than the new.
maybe i should of got non abs instead. think ill make a quick run back to autozone.

Me either. That's why I listed both. It lists both FRONT BRAKE (1) and FRONT BRAKE (2) for the ABS trim, but for the non-ABS trim it only lists FRONT BRAKE (1). The EX sedan lists only FRONT BRAKE (2).

Bring the old ones or ask to look at both brake pads together so you can figure it out.
