I have a 96 civic dx hatch that has a wiring issue, first of all the car has a y7 motor, i wasnt getting any spark and i tested all components and after a couple days if testing stuff i decided to take off tape on wiring to find out that wires were cut and fixed in a bad way.

Now i un tapped the tape on the ecu plug wires and they also were fixed, now my question is why would someone wire the green connector from the under dash fuse box wiring be wired to the blue ecu connector????
