1996 civic, fresh rebuilt gsr swap, rough idle, wont rev up
I turned my car on for the first time, it cranked for a minute and it barely came on then died. I turned the idle up by the screw on the TB, but it sound like crap and I couldnt get it to rev up at all.
Im wondering what it could be.
NO CEL, Compression was even according to my mechanic (im going to verify this myself tomorrow.
Specs:
GSR block fresh rebuild
Low compression pistons 82mm
B16 head
Rc 750 injectors
Turbo
MSD wired
NGK 7 plugs gapped at .030
Car ran and idled fine before the motor bottom end was swapped. But smoked due to a broken ringland on cyl 3.
Now it wont run right.
Im leaning toward an injector or miss matched wiring, maybe messed up valves
Is this the right order for the injectors?
brown red blue yellow
Where do I check voltage to see if they are firing?
Any suggestions?
Any help is appreciated

So the tune was on the old tired engine?
And why would the order of the injectors have changed if all you did is rebuild the bottom end.

Yes tune was on the old motor, I just want to start it up and let it warm up to seat the rings so I can dyno tune it.
And im making sure the colors are correct before I waste my time on other things. Simple and cheap first right?

I guess I'm not understanding how you think the injector wiring is now messed up if it was fine BEFORE the rebuild.
