Default 1995 civic trans problem

I know this has probably been covered but i cant find a solution...
More or less i bought a 1995 EX for $300 lol runs great minumum rust etc but the auto trans is acting up.. Basically it doesnt shift...goes into park reverse and starts/drives in second gear only..doesnt downshift upshift nothing just stays in second..
if i select 1 it doesnt do anything..select 2 it drives select d3/or d4 it just thinks its in 2 and doesnt shift..
No check engine light and d4 doesn't flash...anybody got any ideas? Computer??

Drain the transmission fluid. Don't flush it, just drain it. While draining it, strain it through a filter (a coffee filter will work) and tell us how much **** is in the fluid that isn't fluid.

Lol I would say about $300 worth of ****. Also why I don't buy automatic Honda's, transmissions always seems to be an issue.

People get annoyed that I don't post page numbers with diagrams. Here you go:

lol that works. I've never even noticed that you cut them off before now. I'm guessing you and I have different methods of pulling FSM pages - I'll print the pages I need to an XPS file, then use an online XPS to JPG converter.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have no idea what you're talking about.

Wait really? Do you just...screenshot it or something?

So if you open the PDF in Adobe, find the page(s) you want, and click print. For printer selection, click "Print to File...". Then further down the print window, select "current page". That'll tell you what page you're on. If you just want the one page, there ya go. If you need multiple pages, then click "page range", and print the range you need to the file. When you click Print, it'll pop up a "save file" window. Name it what you want, and save it.

Then upload that file to a converter site. This one is the one I use. That'll spit out a jpg file (or, if it's multiple pages, it'll spit out a zip file with multiple jpg's in it). Upload that/those jpg files to imgur, and boom, done.

It sounds complicated, but it's pretty easy once you do it once or twice.

Mac platform. SnapNDrag or Grab. It's pretty easy - instant jpeg to upload.

Sorry havent been able to reply..

Tried the alignment and it was still dead on.. Like i said it stays in second.. If i select 2-d3-d4 still starts in second.. That cant be a shifter cable issue??

Also drained the trans again after looking and still was clean no shards nothing..
Still no check engine light and still no blinking d4
