Default 1995 civic si wont start HELP pls

SO randomly I went out yesturday morning to get in my car and go somewhere and It wouldnt start.

It kept winding over and tried to catch but when it sorta cought it started bucking and shaking and wouldnt turn on.

I finaly managed to get it on but now it runs so bad like bucking and missfiring so i parked it for 1 hour went inside and came out tried it again.

This time car started in first second and ran fine.

this morning i try go start it again and same thing happens just keeps cranking over n this time wont catch or try to or turn on.

\any ideas on whats causing this???

also when the car used to run and work after it got so warm or been on for a while it started to buck and shake and almost die out, I was thinking the gas could be problem?

Yes it does sound kinda like a fuel pump, can you hear it prime when you turn the key to the "on" position? Any check engine light? Fuel filter is also another fuel item you might want to replace.

i recently did new plugs and the altinator is fine bateery is fine my cap and diggy havnt been replaced cause its wired into and MSD can that i dont know how to rewire back into the ignition coil so i leaved it alone.

now i do have about 1 quarter too much oil in the car but it has been liek it for a week and drove/started fine.

i need new wires though thats a for sure thing but woudl this cause the car to not start..?

also take note my gas is below half and its very cold in ontario canada these days/nights, maybe some gas or water got in and is frozen?

butwhat has been happening latly was the car was perfectly fine except for when it was on for a while it starts bucking and looses all power and almost dies but when i hit it it straightens out and goes fine... also i notice when i turn the a/c on this happens too.

im stmped hmm.

i dont really hear any noise when turning the key to on cause the alarmand the beeping of the car starts at teh same time.

Well get someone to do it for you and take out the back seat (1 bolt) and you can hear for sure. Yes if plug wires are bad enough they may cause this. Any check engine light?

uh, take that extra quart out. if its cold might want to run 5w30, take your msd set up off because it really doesnt do much unless your making big power. Do a fuel system pressure test to see if your geting fuel, then try doing distrib.cap and rotor replacement. see if that does the trick. whats the heat range on the spark plugs? do you know?

Ok this could be your problem. If the battery is too low then car WOULD NOT CRANK it would just click, click click. You have spark because the car started before. I'm assuming your fuel pump is working because it primes right? When you turn the key do you hear a " 2 second hum, then click"? If so, good, your fuel pump is fine. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? I'll put my money on the fuel filter. You should start with the cheapest solutions first and not everyone on here knows what the f**k they're talking about. Filter should run about 15 bucks! Good luck!

wait, so your car clicks when you try to crank it? try to jump start it. If that gets it running pull the negative off your battery to see if you altenator works, if it does than just replace the battery.

Also if you dont hear anything comming from your fuel pump when you turn the key to 2, than its either the pump or the main relay.

Leave the MSD alone there is no need to pull the thing out if it is working. If the dissy was rewired to run with it chances are you are not going to just be able to unhook things you would have to replace parts. If you want to do a full electrical tune up msd makes a cap with the tower for the coil wire its like $45 and comes with a new coil wire and should also have a rotor in the kit. Back to the subject if it only clicks ater sitting all night it is a good chance te battery is going bad and should be replaced
