1995 civic hatchback temperature sensor not working
Ok, so i bought a 1995 civic hatch back, and for some reason the temperature just stays on cold, like way below the C. obviously there's something wrong with that. so that being said, what common problems are there with that not working? can it be a thermostat? some sensor? is there a DIY tutorial out there someone can point me to? thanks

usually it means the sending unit for the gauge is bad, it's screwed into the head directly below the distributor, one wire plug, Unplug it, ground the connector and turn the key to ON II if the temp gauge goes up the sending unit is bad, if it doesn't either the cluster is bad, or you have a wiring issue.

If the sending unit is at fault, check to see if it's all oily. If it is, u might wanna change the o-ring on the distributor shaft. You'd have to remove the distributor for this, though.
