1994 Honda Civic SI: ABS CODE 1-2
Hi HT, just a quick question regarding troubleshooting my ABS code 1-2. I'm following the manual, and it's telling me to check for voltage between various parts of the ABS fuse/relay box and body ground. Additionally, it's having me check for voltage at the connector for the ABS pump motor.
Well, my question: will there be voltage to the ABS fuse/relay box with the key out of the ignition, or must have have the key turned in the ignition. In other words, do I test with or without the key in the ignition.
Thanks in advance!

Depends on which wires you are testing. Some have constant voltage and others only with the key on.

Additionally, I'm wondering if the 2-pin connector leading to the ABS pump motor has a constant power. It doesn't tell us to turn the ignition switch to ON before testing both pins...

Thanks RonJ!
I'm still learning how to read diagrams, so please bare with me... One quick question, for the two-pin connector at the ABS pump motor (WHT/BLU and BLK wires I believe), shouldn't the WHT/BLU wire have no power unless the control unit sends power to the relay, which in turn allows the 12V battery power to feed the ABS pump motor (i.e., in situations that require ABS braking).

^Mostly correct.
With the key in ON(II), the control unit must supply ground at either the Yel/Red or Yel/Grn wire to activate the ABS motor relay that supplies voltage to the motor.
