ok here is the story, my driver side used to take few tries at the switch to roll up/down.
then switch went out one day, my dumb *** tried to jump the harness connects to the driver side switch to rolll it up, but i guess i connected wrong wire or something, i saw a little spark.

so now, both driver and passenger(used to work) dont work now. things i have checked

-motor still works, i can roll it up and down with drill battery.
-under dash and under hood fuses(4 times!!!)
-check the window regualtor relay, borrow friend's working one and tried, nothing.


is there another source of relay or fuse? it has something todo with fuse im assuming since passenger side dont have power either now -.-

did you burn the wires when u jumped spark? trace it back thru the door to the fuse panel

Did you check 20A dash fuse 14?

Dash fuses 5 and 8?

im having the same problem with my car
i have a 92 cx civic it has converted power windows but harness and all are oe. no cutting or splicing.

anyways i dont mean to thread jack but this is an old thread.


i checked my relay, and switches in my lil bros ex coupe and they work.
both windows work with direct battery. checked under dash fuses nothing....

well i figured out the other day what it was. it was starting to rain and i went to used my wipers and they didnt work. so checked the fuse and it was blown. then all the sudden the windows started working.

my dumb *** forgot that the power window relay runs through that same fuse....

LMAO, I made the exact same mistake about a year ago! I would have mentioned something before but I just stumbled on this thread.

This^ is the fuse that was blown.
