Default 1994 civic speedometer issue.

so my speedometer no longer works.
i just put the engine back in the car after a rebuild,
and now it doesnt work.(worked before the motor was pulled)
i had a gsr swap before aswell.
ive tried a new vss,
a new cluster,
running a signal wire to the ecu/vss/cluster,
ive cleaned the pins connecting to the vss,
ive checked all of my fuses,
and still nothing.

i did remove the cruise control module from under
the driver side of the dash if that has anything to do with it,
but i cant find it to throw it back in for troubleshooting.

any help is appreciated!
thanks.

Do you have CEL code 17?

yeah cel works fine.
when you put the car in acc. the
cel cuts on and off after the fuel system primes,
and never comes back on.

If the wire running from the VSS to the cluster does not have an open, then the speedo is probably bad.

A bad VSS would generally throw code 17. Your problem more likely lies with the speedo, assuming you have correctly checked the wire.

Check the terminal for the VSS Yel/Blu wire in the cluster connector.

You've already replaced the VSS three times. What are the chances that all are bad? In addition, a bad VSS would typically throw code 17. Be a detective and don't ignore obvious clues. If the VSS and speedo/cluster are good, then logic dictates that there is a bad wire or connector.
