JDM Type R 5 Speed

Starts to sharply squeak when I shift into any gear after driving for a while. My mechanical inkling tells me it may be the bushing in the "cup" where the "ball" of the shift mechanism lies. If anyone has any experience with that I would greatly appreciate that wisdom. Thank you for your time.

maybe lube up some parts around the shifter? that might work.

Do you have a aftermarket shift ****?
Sometimes a small allan screw needs to be tightened or use teflon tape on the threads.
