1993 Honda Del Sol Passenger Airbag
I will try to make this short...I am interested in purchasing a 1993 Honda Del Sol but the owner says that it has a passenger airbag, now being that there is no backseat in this car, my 7 year old will have to ride up front, is there anyway to disconnect the airbag? Or is removing it a possibility?

93 del sols never came with air bags so its one of three things 1. not a 93 2.doesn't have an airbag or 3. someone swaped a 94-97 dash into it. there is a way to disconnect it (simply unplug it), but i believe it would just leave you with an srs light on all the time. If it does actually have the pass airbag then you can swap in a 93 del sol dash and buh bye airbag. That also might leave you with a srs light. I know the user Hater swapped his dash for a 93 and I'm not sure if he has an srs light or not.

Incorrect! 1993s have driver airbag, but no passenger airbag. I disabled my bag when I put an aftermarket wheel on there
