Default 1993 Honda Civic Sedan EX

i had a bad alternator and so i went to autozone to get a replacement, after replacing the alternator i tried starting up the car.... nothing.... it has a brand new battery just the night before.... i'm not getting any type of electric current from car, lights are all out nothing works, tried using a different battery but still same thing... could it be a bad alternator even though i just bought it?
thanks in advance

Check your main fuse in the engine bay. Brother popped this fuse in his civic when changing alt, forgot to unhook battery. It's like a 60 or 80 amp fuse.

check ur main relay...under the dash brown....those go bad often... if no lights are coming on it's not about altenator and if u put another battery it's about electrical so start chekcing fuses and relays...

I doubt it's main relay related, Since the OP stated that he has no power whatsoever, I would really doubt it is anything more than the main fuse in the underhood fuse block. Common mistake is not making sure the battery is disconnected when performing any type of repair, especially electrical related repairs.
