Default Throwing 2 codes

I have cels for both primary 02(1) and random misfire in cylinder 1(71). My car shutters in low rpms, but as soon as i get above 3k it runs smooth. Any ideas? plugs cap, wires and rotor are all no more than a year old.

Do an ignition tune up anyway, replace the O2 sensor and report back.

You mean raplace everything i listed? I don't think so. I'll replace the plugs and see what happens. I took one out a few days ago and it was kind of off white colour. 02 sensor is like 250 bucks. I'll have it tested before i replace it.

2000 civicdx d16y7. its been shuttering in lower rpms for a while now. but it only did it every once and a while, but the last 2 days it does it in every gear, and then today the CEL started blinking and then just stayed on. When i had my emissions done a little while ago, the guy said i barely passed. Can the 02 sensor cause a misfire?

everytime that's happened to me its been fuel related.

and trust me, the sputtering/misfiring posts when you search go on forever...trouble shooting it can be a pain.

have you visually checked your 02 to see if it may be damaged?

check your fuel pressure if you can. maybe a new fuel filter would do it. you would think if it was starving for fuel down low, it would get even worse up top. if it was way leaned out maybe the ecu would throw the 02 code, bc the 02 wasnt switching.

I know this thread is years old but i had the same problem and also a code for cylinder position sensor. i found a thread that tells you how to fix this. behind the intake manifold on you y7 sumtimes y8 too theres two big plugs disconnect the blue plug and youll see that your wiring is cut or frayed.(this will cause all sorts of crap on our hondas) i had the stuff mentioned above and speedo problems so try looking at the BLUE plug wiring and tape it back up after that you should be cool
