1993 del sol: brake caliper seized up
Greetings all! i have been browsing the forums for years and have gotten much useful information. I know have a problem i can't find a solution for! I just aquired a 1993 del sol for a great deal. I love this little car but it needs some work! Doing the rear brakes and rotors right now and the passenger rear caliper is locked up! I'm removing it but i can't seem to be able to get the cable that leads to the spring disconnected. Anyone have advice or some steps i can take to do this? possibly a link to a parts breakdown? It looks like there's a lock pin that's held on by a cotter pin. I removed the cotter pin but the lock pin seems to be stuck in place... maybe it's just seized up? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1993 del sol:
Just figured i'd ask, but are you trying push the caliper piston back in with a C clamp and thinking its seized? The rear calipers have to have pistons rotated in with a special tool, or a large flat screwdriver, piece of flat stock etc.
