Hey all, need some help with a friends car. It's got about 240k miles.

Car quit running, and can't get it started. He's changed the fuel filter on the firewall thinking maybe that was it. Car is getting fuel at the injector rail, and appears to be getting spark. The car will turn over, but doesn't try to crank beyond that.

This actually happened a couple of other times. Once it started fine on its on a few hours later, the other time he was having it pulled back up the driveway and he was able to dump the clutch and it started.

This time, nothing works.

We're gonna try to work on it tomorrow and wondering what to look at? There's been no work done to it prior to this starting.

It "appears" to be getting spark? How did you check for spark?

I haven't yet, but he pulled spark plug boot off and made sure each was arcing.

What color was the spark? It is important. It should be a bright bluish white.

Don't know, I haven't laid a hand on it yet...will tomorrow.
