I Have A 1992 Honda Civic DX With A "Not-So-Stock" D15B7... lol. But Anyways I Need Some New Engine Mods For My Civic. Im Fixen To Graduate And That Means GRADUATION MONEY lol. Im Lookin At A Jackson Racing Roots Style Supercharger Kit. Im Buyin That Supercharger, a Venom 400 Control Module, Venom High Flow Injectors, Venom Fuel Rail, Pacesetter 4-2-1 Header, Taylor 409 Ignition Wires, and a AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator. IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS ON MY SETUP JUST LET ME KNOW...

I WAS THINK I COULD GET A B16 AND RUN THE EDELBROCK VICTOR X TURBO KIT ON IT.... WHAT YALL THINK ABOUT THAT SETUP????

From my research and others misfourtoune, it seems that the supercharger should be left for the V8s. I would get a B18C (GSR) or B18B (LS) and boost it. I would even consider slapping a turbo on the d15 for a little bit if its in good condition.

On a kinda OT note: I would not spend most of your graduation money on your car. It's easy to say, not easy to do. I wish that I put away more of my graduation money because now I don't own the car and basically the money was pissed away into a car and not something substatial. Good luck.

how many miles and how long do you want to have the car under 100k and/ or you don't want the car very long go turbo. if you want to have the car for a while go B swap you will have a bit less HP than a turbo at 7 psi (the most I would risk on a d15) and if you get a type R you may have around the same, but ALOT more potential. I saw a b swap in a hatch back civic with a turbo today it was damn quick.

If i were you i'd Save my money and Research alot more and figure out whats the best for you and your budget.

Your best bets because i'm assuming you dont have a huge budget are going to be a turboed d16 or a b18 swap with simple bolt ons.

I swapped in a b16a2 with ctr pistons into my 93 ex and I love it. It was a turbo d16 as you can see from my avatar but the b16 is so much better. You can just floor it everywhere you go. I recomend a b series swap anyday!
