1992 civic question
I recently put in a new alternator in my 92 civic back in january. Now recently my battery light has been turning on. It's weird because it only does it when I'm driving in town or when I come to a stop. The light will flicker and If I step on the gas the light will turn off. And if I'm at a stop sign and the battery light is on, if I turn on my wipers or my AC or FAN...the engine wants to shut off.....can anybody give me an ide as to what might be the problem?? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: 1992 civic question
make sure the 10mm nut is clean and tight on the alternator. (check for loose connections)
also get a volt meter and test the voltage of the battery at idle, and while revving the engine. then post back.
