1992 Civic DX Front End Vibration
I have a manual steering car with about 140k miles on it and have had a problem with an intermittent vibration at 60+MPH (Anything lower and I'm fine) in the steering wheel for the past few months. I've replaced the inner tie rods, replaced the entire steering rack with a lower mileage unit, replaced both axles, and got the wheels balanced. The outer tie rods look fine and all the ball joints look fine. The only other thing I think it could be is the trans, UCA or LCA bushings or the wheel bearings. The transmission feels amazing and shifts really well, so I have a feeling that is not my problem. Any input would be appreciated on what you guys think it might be.
Thanks,
Chris.
Thanks,
Chris.

Re: 1992 Civic DX Front End Vibration
wheel bearings sounds like a possiblity. a friend a bad vibration and it was all wheel bearing. take the wheels off and turn the spindle by hand and feel for any hard spots when turing it. u might not feel anything, because they could not be totally messed. you cant see either because handa wheel bearings are a sealed unit.
