Default 195/70/14 Winter Time On A 95 Civic Coupe *HELP!!*

hey guys, i picked up 4 winter tires for a really good deal but now im wondering if there gonna fit or not... there 195/70/14 and i checked some tire sites they give 65 series tires as the biggest....but i googled the size and some people claim they have ran that size on there civic so now im really confused

is the car lowered? as long as it isn't crushed you should be fine.

cars not lowered all summer i had a 13inch stealies with a decent series tire so i didnt need to lower it at all it looked fine so for the winter i was gonna put on a 14 inch stealie with a 60,65,70 series tire

just did the same thing - bought my winter set-up. use tirerack.com dude, they give you the recommended sizes for your car - for me i bought black painted steelies with blizzaks on them for $374 recommended size is 185/65-14 and the alternate size is 175/70-14..this being on a 2000 EX, but those sizes should be the same for your car as well. if you are unsure if they will work just return them and get the sizes i got from tirerack.

Thats a tall tire and wide for a stock civic I think you are going to run into rubbing issues in the rear of the car. you might need to roll the fender to keep them from rubbing. Esp if the springs are sagging in the rear.
