185 hp sohc stock?????
This guy was tellin me he has a 93 civic coupe w/japanese motor swap. He says it has 185 horsepower stock and it is a sohc out of their type r coupe. I never heard of it before and don't know to believe him or not. But he says it is in his car. Is this true? Is there a sohc motor for honda civic coupes that has at stock 185 horsepower?

That must be that new jdm Twin turbo sohc limited edition D18y21 SiR IIII with the LSD option. How does that sound? Sounds like B.S. doesn't it? I'm pretty sure its not SOHC.

Nah... he is rollin around believing it whole heartedly that his motor is 185hp. I haven't seen it yet, but it is pretty easy to tell if your car is dohc or sohc. Just look at it. I'll know when we run, but till then, I am trying to find out for sure so I can show him that it doesn't exist or find out that it does.

here is another one ? a guy that i know and he is kowledgeable , works for a good shop. he saids that he has a rare b16b , (he saids that there's 2 types) and also use to work with a guy that use to import a lot of jdm engines )which i saw the car and he does but he has it with 11.8 CR . i know that b16b comes with 10.8 CR but 11.8 and he said that he hasnt touch the motor . what do you guys think of this one ??!?????!!
