17x8 inch rims 235/40 tires on eg sedan
any chance its gonna work? I was running 17x7 215/40 until now and had no problems
just finished doing a 5 lug conversion using the EK type r setup and converted the evo 6 rear brembo disks and clippers to get a little more stopping power, also got my hands on some enkei 17x8 evo 9 rims so fingers crossed

You know when you run a '17in wheel that throws off your whole rotational mass. I.e. Making you noticeably slower. Yes slower, it's because your wheel is so big it takes more time for it to make a full spin.
I guess 17x8 would fit, if you're at stock height or rolled the fenders, but you ran 17x7 so it shouldn't be that bad, just remember what I said tho.

That's rather big on a TSX even which is considerably larger thus being way too big for such a small car and will weigh a good amount. But by the rest of the car what can you expect.... "racing seat/ mugen lip bro" and projectors from fast n furious 2.
