17's rubbing...how bout 16's...or 15's slipstreams
just sold my 17's because they were rubbing, I think they were 40mm offset. I have a sportline drop and that is it, plan on getting shocks here pretty soon. Will 16's rub just as much? will I have to go with 15's? I'm looking at some slipstreams. thanks.

they were some speedlite racing's, I bought them from a les schwab. They weighed like 600 pounds each and I've never heard of them since . I was so glad to get rid of them.

Its not the wheel size that matters as much, its the tire size. The smallest 17 inch tire is a 205/40. You can get the same size in a 16 but it is a lot shorter tire. The smallest normal production tire for a 15 is 195/50 most go with 205/50 for the width. I think these will be your best bet.

15X6.5 with a 205/50/15 is fine with a 1.8 drop have progress coilovers and have that drop or lower and have no probs. IF you want you can take out your inner fender plastic I did and love it
