Pretty bad if you ask me. I think you need to find a different tuner.

That's just as bad as the OG Poster's.

What are 75 over CTR's?

I made 172whp w/ bolt on's and tuning on a B18C1.

i tuned with chrome in long beach at a place called churches. ******* awesome tuners. i put down 180 hp with an ls vtec (b16 head) and it only has ITR pistons. everything else is stock. so i think you could do better.

Get it tuned again, a stock type r block with minimal bolt ons and chrome should be macking around 170-175.

You seriously need to get it tuned again, or you have a problem somewhere you arent aware of.

I am still curious what 75 over CTR pistons are.

Another curiosity, do you have any idea what your static compression is? I do. I hope you tell me you are running on 91 octane as well.

If that is true, and the tuner does in fact know what he's doing, I can give you a good idea why you are so low on power.

1). Honda doesn't sell CTR pistons in .75 over.
2). Thats going to be REDICULOUSLY high compression
3). The GSR head will add even more to the compression
4). No need for 440 injectors with that setup
5). You don't need a fuel pressure regulator other then your stock one
6). 170 sucks for whats done

Good luck with that setup lasting on cali 91 octane.

I like his thinking

Though uhh...the GSR has more compression on an ITR block than an ITR head?? Thought that was vice versa due to the compression of a GSR vs the compression of an ITR (total vs total)

EDIT:
Yeah I just checked it, the ITR head has 1.1cc more volume than the GSR head, so why would the GSR give more compression?

BTW: I'm not tryin to say ur wrong, I just have no idea why

Just sit and think about that for a few minutes. The P72 head has smaller combustion chambers than the PR3 head. What would that do for static compression?

i wouldnt find another tuner, eugene is a great tuner, had a nice lil lsvtec sedan too,

dude you spent all your money in the wrong places, a ctr doesnt need a .75 over, did he just say .75 over? do u know how much that is? wtf man thats a lot of meat coming off that sleeve

reliably i would go .25 and thats with block gaurd and nothing more, u sure you dont have ctr dome pistons? where they mimick a ctr dome but wider?

your obviously going to run too rich, and as a daily you have nothing **** man, go get it resleeved cuz u comprimised that integrity of a strong factory otor, if you were to bore anything, i woulda just went gsr block and started there, with a pr3 b16 head a poormans type r to ave money, then do major engine work, or turboed an ls vtec and mademore than that man ****

BS? It's not even that impressive. Maybe if I claimed like 180+ or something.

Prototype Racing Velocity Stack, 3" intake pipe, Edelbrock 65mm throttlebody, Edelbrock Victor X manifold, JDM ITR 4-1 (primaries modded, collector modded), Carsound 2.5" cat, KTeller 2.5" exhaust, UR Ultra R crank pulley (single rib), UR Ultra A alt pulley, Edelbrock cam gears, B&M FPR, AEM EMS <---this is where the power was gained.

I was actually hoping for more. I helped tune a buddy's '94 GSR back in the day. He made 171whp and all he had done was Comptech intake, ITR throttlebody, Skunk2 intake manifold, JDM 4-1 unmodified, Carsound 2.5" cat, A'PEXi N1 exhaust, P/S belt off, Skunk2 P28, B&M FPR, A'PEXi VAFC.

Mine was dyno'd on a Dyno Jet 248X. His was on a Dyno Jet 248C.
