17' rims
okay this thread was for some peoples input 17" rims on a civic because i am thinking of getting some from a friend for Dirt Cheap. but as of now i have already purchased them as daily driving so i wont have to use my other set as my daily.
but if your wondering the wheels are a set of Drag dr-17's with good tires.

No! this is not the 1990's
Big wheels are out!
Thin tires are out!
Small wheels are in!
Big tires are in!
In my opnion and 99% of other honda enthusists, big rims do not look kewl.
However this is just my opnion and I will not bash anyone with big rims, "to each his own"
by all means, if you like them get them.
Blacked out LS mesh OEM wheels look great IMO. stock SI look great. I think they are the two most in demand rims. Oh and the Fat fives.

well yes, what you said is true about "if you like them get them".
i actually bought them. they are *Mint* (i stress MINT) drag dr-17's with more then half the thread left.
you cant get any 17' rims for cheaper then this.
Will post pictures up asap.

Try taking this to the wheels/tires forums and see what they say. however, i say this: dont do what someone else want, do what you want. If you like them then get them. Personally i like 15's with 195/50/15's, my 17's look good but there just not my style

No to be a ***** but if you had already bought them, why would you even bother asking us for our opinion?
No offence intended but we see to many "what y'all think?" threads when in the end the OP altready has bought, traded, etc.
Of course, it was your choice to make and you have to live with it. Hey if you think they look good and ride well then cool that a great deal. Just please don't ask for our input if your mind is already made up. Or at least be honest and just say it, "I scored these 17"s for cheap, what do you gys think?"

Re: 17' rims
If you like it, do it. I have 17's on my car, but for some reason, I always get away with people thinking they're 16's.
I'm not flaming on you or anything =]
As for you questions, if you want our opinion, first you have to tell us what kind of rims. They're thousands of 17" rims out there. My opinion is 6th gen and older look better with 15/16 and 17" depending on what kind of rim. 7th gen or newer: 16/17

Re: 17' rims
lol, im dumb?? lol, what if i have time to switch my wheels every weekend. yea, leave your 700 + rims on your car outside over night for acouple weeks. It'll probably be gone one day. and not everyone has money to keep buying expensive tires. so thats why i would prefer two sets so i wouldn't use them up so quickly.
