Default 16x7 5zigen offset Pictures +42 or +33.......which on for my EG

My car is lowered ~3.5 inches up front and 3 in the rear.

I will be running 205-45-16's

I do not want the tires to stick out too far or be in too far as well.

THe rims come in +33 and +42 offsets

I am thinking the 42's are what I want, but does anyone have pics of this rim/offset

I know I love em, just wanna get the right offset for my drop

I am tucking 175-70-13 tires if that makes a difference

I guess that would mean on a 16x7 i will tuck all the tire and 1 in of rim.

anyways

Bump for tech and pics

correct if i'm wrong but going with +33 offset, the wheel is gonna be flush with the fenders and in turn you'll rub, whereas the +45 offset will tuck inside the fenders...

figured this out by looking at many GAB wheels with +35 offset [or similar] and the wheels sitting flush if not almost sticking out....

an +33 offset is to much, the most offset you can run on an eg is +35 like my old te-37s...and i had rubbing problems with those also

so the larger the offset # means the wheels won't stick out as much???

i have different rims but they are 16x7 w/ 40mm offset. heres some pics to give you an idea what the 42mm would look like (just add 2mm

i barely rubbed w/ that setup, and it was always w/ the outer edge of the tire rubbing fender lip. so 42mm might be perfect
(that 1st image is imagestation so it may not work)

edit: i also used 205/45/16

just noticed something else.... you are prob gonna rub w/ that drop unless there are really nice roads where you live. my drop was about 2 5/8" and I rubbed some. if you have coilovers though you can always adjust after you get the wheels on, if you have springs id go w/ a 205/40/16 series tire which will give you the factory outside diameter on your tire. ride will be a little more harsh and less sidewall to absorb potholes compared to 205/45. but rubbing sucks!
