Is 15x7 et +38 too wide for front on my EG hatch?
found a set of wheels that i really like and im very close to ordering them i just wanted to make sure real quick.
My hatch will be lowered on F&F type 1 coilovers (not SLAMMED, but pretty low) and will be running a 195/50/15 tire on all 4 corners. I've read that an et of +25-35 is fine but these wheels are +38. Will running these be risky in any way such as the inside of the tire rubbing on the coilover or the outside of the tire rubbing on the fender? or any other type of risk?
the lip is pretty big which is my main cause of concern. Here's a pic for reference:

i got 15x7 +35offset enkei rpf1s with 205/50/15 tires and it doesnt rub at all. if its too low i could see it rubbing the fender when you make sharp turns. i think you should go with 205 instead of 195 on a 15x7 rim.

with a 195 on a 7 inch wheel stretching will be involved, not a major stretch but still, I would be using a 205-45 your speedo should only be off a few mph.
With stretching the tire, you may end up with a 195-45 size witch would cause your speedo to be off anyways.

I've seen plenty of Sportmax' 15x8's on EG's with not a problem. All you need is rolled fenders, but like you said, you've got that covered... I run 15x7.5 with 32 offset, and rolled fenders on my EK. My front rubs a little, and I'm not even completely slammed... No biggy.
