Default 15's or 16's

what size rims do you think i should go with.. i was thinking 16's would help control my wheel spin a bit on the street with drag radials.. what do some of you guys recommend... swapping in a jdm h22a w/ lsd in a week or two

the higher profile of the sidewall, the more grip you will have because sidewalls on drag tires are meant to wrinkle, not break loose. so i would say 15s, which i also think look better.

15's are better for street/drag (13's are even better for drag). 16 for circle track if you need the bigger brakes.

Straight performance = 15's or lower for drag
Some show and decent performance = 16's

It all depends on you man...

Wheels need only to be large enough to fit over your brakes!

Anything more is overkill!

Both. I would want 16s on a daily basis because they fill the fender better and 17s are too big for a civic IMO and 15s for the track.

what does that mean? a 15 inch wheel with 205/50 tires will fill a fender just as much as a 16 with 205/45

I had 17' on my civic then sold them and got 15's, sold those for 16's. I must say 16's look dope on a civic!!!!

It means I have 15" Si alloys with 195/55 tires and 15" Advans with 205/50 tires and I used to have 17" Konigs with 205/40 tires and out of those options I would rather have a 16" wheel because of the way the rim looks on the car/in the fender well.

15's or smaller. as long as it clears the brakes and weighs less than 14 lbs each

I'm partial to larger sized rims, I absolutely loved the way my 17's looked on my coupe, even without some kind of front lip or kit. I would say that 16's are the ****, not to big, and not too small, the best of both worlds.

15's, my friend just put some 16's on his car and they are tearing up his inner lip on the fenders, so if you get 16's be sure to get a good offset.......but 15's are the way to go
