15" or 16" subzeros for my EG?
This is a bit of a style vs function poll really...
I've had 17s on my VTi for nearly a year and I'm pretty fed up, the handling is awful cos they're et35 and they look a bit too big if you ask me, see pic below...
and before you say it, I know it's in dire need of lowering!
I'm getting some rota sub-zeros in royal gunmetal (wohoo!) and I can't decide between 15s and 16s. I'm tempted towards 15s because of the price and cos it'll make my car handle/feel like it's supposed to, but I also like the idea of 16s cos the handling won't be affected too much and they'll look a bit better.
What you guys think?

the handling problem is due mainly to the STOCK suspension, not the 17" wheels. And tires play a big role in handling, most important imo.

I too have this question...depending what you will be doing with the car....if its your daily driven track car and drag strip car get 15's......if your just going for looks and daily driven get the 16's....but please make sure to put 45 series tires not 40.... haha

Wierd, I have 17s on my Coupe and they did nothing but improve my handleing. w/stock suspention. but I say if you are that unhappy with em then go down to 15s. Your car is still going to look just as good!

My EG on 15's:

And on 16's:

16's look better, but 15's ride, handle, and accelerate quicker

i would go w/ some 16's... my personal preference... i just like the way they look on the eg's, combine them with some good rubber.. its sure to handle great!

Like someone said above, you can slam it a little more w/ 15's. Also, less rotational mass and cheaper tires. Bear in mind that if you decide to upgrade the brakes in the future, there may be clearance issues with 15's.

Good to see you smartened up by dumping the 17's.
I say 16's because you get performance and looks best IMO.
15's if you want staight performance and could care less about looks.
