is a 13/16th better than 7/8th master cylinder?
I just went to my nearest auto part store because i needed a new master cylinder. Instead of buying the oem 7/8th for my 94 civic ex i decided to upgrade for a 15/16th m.c. but they did not have it in stock. So they offered me 13/16th m.c. the size is bigger than the 7/8th does anybody know if it will work brake better. I have drums in the back but i was told it wouldnt make a difference. All i want to know if it will brake faster with less pedal press.

Re: is a 13/16th better than 7/8th master cylinder? (civic_type_r)
7 X 2 = 14 and 8 X 2 = 16 so 7/8 = 14/16 which is greater than 13/16. I can't believe I'm actually explaining this.

The 13/16th will give you more pedal manipulation though. Just a thought. I wouldn't downgrade to a smaller MC though.
