13" steelies...
whats the biggest brake setup i can get and still run the steelies in the fronts?
my friend has a 95 GSR and he said he can't fit them on his car but i thought that the GSR and LS brakes are the only ones that would fit it?
so anyone can sheed some light on the situation i want to get new front brakes and upgrade the rears to rotors instead of drums

Re: 13" steelies... (sohcSUCKS)
no i am saying so WHEN i get rims i can just throw radials on them or even slicks for my track days...
no i am running all 4 steelies right now not enough to buy rims yet.
i am just saying that i do want to upgrade the brakes but when i go to the track it would be nice if i could use the 13" steelies with some radials or slicks on them saves me the effort in buying new rims or whatever for track days.
but i jsut want to know what brake kit i can buy to be able to fit the 13"'s on

Honestly, I don't think that you can do any brake upgrade minus something you would buy from AEM. I just assume do a GSR Brake swap and find someone with a set of crappy-*** set of wheels and use those.

The 9.2" brakes are the only ones that will fit inside 13" steelies. And if you want to use slicks with said steelies, you'll be limited to narrow slicks because... guess what... the steelies are a whopping 5" wide. Get some Lenso 13X7 wheels if you want to run slicks on 13s up front.

They make 13" slicks. I think brakes are more important than the steelies. GS-R's can only fit 14" wheels on the front.
Get GS-R brakes or Type R brakes, then get some other 14" wheels, they're not that much. I bought my slicks and had them mounted on 14 x 7 steelies for track competition:
Those are 22"/8"/14" M/T ET Drag slicks on the front.
If you want to keep your Civic brakes up front, I have a set of 13 x 8 bogart drag wheels waiting to be sold. They won't fit my 4 x 114.3 hubs and Type R brakes, so I need to get rid of them.
