1157 bulbs for 99-00 DX HB rear turn Signals. Is this right?
I noticed my rear turn signal bulbs on my 00 dx HB are 1157 which are dual filament. However the turn signals use only 1 of the two filaments. I looked into the bulb socket and there is only one wire running to the socket also. Should the bulb be 1156 instead? Why would Honda put in a dual filament bulb that doesn't get used? I found nothing in the owners manual.

i know for sure 1157 is for the front corners of 6th gens...the owner's manual should tell you the correct bulb to use...

here is what i have for stock turn signal light bulbs:
Sylvania
Front: 3496
Rear: 7440
i have a 97 DX hatch, not sure if 99-00 are different.
