is 1100 worth about 20 hp????
this is for a b16.. im installing bc3 cams springs and retainers and cam gears for 500 bucks.. i spent about 550 for the parts all together close to 600.. is it worth it??i should of built a turbo kit.. huh?

I wouldnt run the BC3's on stock bottom end. I think you need 11.5 c/r for those. NA power is way different from turbo. But you wont find a good reliable kit for 1100 unless you know someone.

made 206whp with a mostly stock B16A with 11.4:1 compression, OEM parts, a slight mill and flat valves.
Cams used were the early grind (smaller) M22's

should i use a thinner head gasket than the oem ones or should i just leave it oem... i dont have cash now to upgrade valves or pistons..

too late for turbo now.. i told the mechanic to just install the cams and use a honda head gasket... what else could i do now?

I would have gone thinner with the head gasket, but since you did that, you now need a real tune on a dyno... If you really are looking for something to do.

what head gasket then.. i have until 8 in the morning to get a head gasket and it is 1102 pm now.. what do you recommend?

I have read using 2 of the OEM or a thinner one. However it is much later for me and I am not thinking straight. Search the N/A Forums for the engine and head gaskets, you will find the answers. However I know just 1 gasket has issues... I just do not remember which.
